Session 1: Wolves of Welton
- Party travels from Eldrin to Welton after hearing rumors of wolf attacks.
- They escort a shepherd and his flock safely into town.
- Discover wolves are intelligent and organized, not ordinary beasts.
- Learn that local hedge sorcerer Alexi is missing.
- Track wolves to a lair where they’re found roasting meat, setting traps.
- Discover wolves are magically imbued — Silas confirms via lantern, Del confirms they aren’t transformed humans.
Session 2: Butterfly Cavern and Bound Knight
- Party rescues wolf pups hidden in town; earns trust of Bolt and Flame.
- Finds hidden Butterfly Cavern; triggers a vision from a man with a USMC tattoo warning of artifacts and danger.
- Discover transformation pool: Thomas becomes a Rock Gnome, Elliot becomes a black catfolk.
- Retrieve the Jeweled Chain from a Bound Knight statue via blood sacrifice.
- Doing so triggers a blood flood; party flees the crypt.
Session 3: Blood Flood and Secrets of Veyhendral
- Party fights zombies and escapes spiral staircase with Ashford’s son's body.
- Buries the child outside Welton before sunset.
- Learns realm is called Veyhendral; ruled by the Hollow Tyrant (King Dhaelith) who made a deal with the Unshaped.
